Greenhouse Project

Greenhouse Project

The Greenhouse Project gives our students a hands-on space to learn how plants grow, from sowing seeds and potting seedlings to watering, weeding and harvesting. Working in a protected, all-weather environment, they can follow the full growing cycle of vegetables, herbs and flowers, building practical skills that link directly to our life skills and gardening programme.

Beyond the harvest, the greenhouse is a calm and structured learning space that encourages concentration, patience, teamwork and a sense of responsibility. Every task is adapted to the abilities of each student, and the produce can be used in our cooking activities, helping students understand where their food comes from and giving them skills that open the way to greater autonomy and future work opportunities.
